​How many people can the tea room hold?​
​
At this time, the tea room can only comfortably seat up to 10 guests. Six guests on a sectional couch with three tables and (1) round table that can seat four people.

Is there a deposit required? ​​
​
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your date/time.
​
What happens if my group (or part of my group) is late? ​​
​
We understand things happen! But, due to the planning of the space and our other reservations, your group has a "hard stop" 1.5 hours after your reservation's start time. If you're (say 30 minutes) late, you'll have a reduced time to enjoy the service. Communicating with us by calling, emailing, or messaging us through the OpenTable app helps us prepare for your arrival - especially when you're running late!

Can we bring our own food or decorations?​
​
Yes, you're welcome to bring your own food to add a special touch (like birthday cupcakes or a group member's favorite finger sandwich) but any substitutions you make on your own will not affect the cost of the tea. You're also welcome to add decorations with a few limitations (you cannot remove any of our decor or use nails/screws to affix anything new.) Any decor or alterations in seating must be approved prior to use of the space and we're happy to discuss what's allowed in greater detail with you.

Can we bring our own alcohol?​

No, at this time, we do not yet have a "BYOB" permit. We are also outside of Raleigh's "social district." That means, for now, events must be strictly sober.

Is your space wheelchair accessible?​
​
Our speakeasy entrance is tucked behind a bookcase in our retail space. While the door itself is 32'' wide and accommodates most standard wheelchairs, access can be tricky: there are two small steps leading from the coffee shop into the retail area. If this presents a challenge for you, don't worry--we have a street-level door we're happy to open for you. Just let us know in advance and we'll make sure your entry is seamless.

Can I come by and scope out the space to see if it's right for the event I have in mind?​
​
​​Yes, although please email us to arrange this or chat with a barista beforehand. We don't want to disturb tea reservations that may be in-progress and will need to arrange your walkthrough in-between reservations.​​
